This piece was inspired by a happy hazy day in Harpswell, that I was initially discouraged about because I thought the weather wouldn’t be ideal. I was inspired as I sat perched on a cliff at Giant Stairs (facing toward Ragged Island), close enough to feel the ocean’s power and get cooled by the salty spray of the ocean as it crashed on the rocks below me. It made for an absolutely perfect day.
